This 1 Quart Stoneware Utility Crock is multi-functional. It can be used for small batch preserving and traditional pickling purposes. This makes a nice size for pickles and sauerkraut. 

These crocks can be used decoratively, as well... and as kitchen storage and pantry containers. 

Crocks filled with food for fermentation purposes should be kept in a cool, dry enviroment allowing the fruits and vegetables to ferment naturally. 

Each crock is fired at a high temperature for durability! Finished with Lead-Free, Food-Safe Glaze. Ready to use. Easy to clean. Will not retain the food’s flavors. Microwave safe. Oven safe. Dishwasher safe. High Quality! 

Do not expose your Ohio Stoneware piece to direct flame (stovetop, grill, etc). Direct heat may cause your piece to crack and you will be sad. This is considered misuse and will not be covered under our warranty.

    Great addition to my other stoneware

    I have other Ohio stoneware that I use for sourdough starter and making sauerkraut and this will be perfect for my BBQ sauce while grilling and smoking meat.
