This Bean pot is amazing. It cooked our beans so much better than our old metal pot. The top Was hard to get off when it was hot but we used a frosting knife to assist. Super easy to clean after. You will NOT be disappointed if you buy this bean pot.

Would’ve given it a five (5), except for the cover top handle, needed to be flared to make it easier to grab/pickup.

Excellent pot, sturdy, perfect size, good looking and well made ... but whoever designed that lid must have never used a bean pot! Trying to get the lid off during cooking was a nightmare, but acrobatics with a potholder and a spoon did the trick. When cold, everything's fine, but heated and my silicone ribbed holders just slid off the tiny nub. Some ridges, a longer stem, a slight curve, plenty of options to make that top usable. My order was delivered as promised, well packed all at a very good price. With a little redesign of the top, this would be a 6 out of 5 pot, but even with the shortcoming, I'd buy it again.

Pot is sturdy and works well! Beans came out perfect! Pot cleaned up quickly and is dishwasher safe. The only downside is the knob on the top of the lid. It's very slippery and difficult to grip with a pot holder when you need to check the fluid level inside the pot.

I have made a pound of dried beans with and without the bean pot and the difference is significant. I didn't think I needed a bean pot, but I did!! The pot is awesome. The lid needs to be reworked though because the nob on the lid is too small and slippery. My recipe requires stirring every 30 minutes for 4 hours. It will be a challenge to keep the lid from breaking. 4 stars because of the lid.
