Description

This 2 Quart Stoneware Preserving Crock is great for traditional canning and pickling uses. This makes a nice size for pickles or kraut. 

These crocks can be used decoratively, as well... and as kitchen storage and pantry containers. 

Crocks filled with food for fermentation purposes should be kept in a cool, dry enviroment allowing the fruits and vegetables to ferment naturally. 

Each crock is fired at a high temperature for durability! Finished with Lead-Free, Food-Safe Glaze. Ready to use. Easy to clean. Will not retain the food’s flavors. Microwave safe. Oven safe. Dishwasher safe. High Quality!

Do not expose your Ohio Stoneware piece to direct flame (stovetop, grill, etc). Direct heat may cause your piece to crack and you will be sad. This is considered misuse and will not be covered under our warranty.

To claim under the guarantee please email pictures of the product to info@ohiostoneware.com with proof of purchase or date of purchase and retailer purchased from. After review, Ohio Stoneware may request to have the item sent in for a physical review and at its discretion will determine if the product is eligible for replacement. Replacement products will be sent free of charge with prepaid postage. Ohio Stoneware, in its discretion, shall either repair or replace the product free of charge and return the product prepaid. This warranty gives you specific legal rights, and you may also have other rights, which vary state to state.

    1qt in 2qt: Packaging for UPS - USPS, delivery was excellent. Packaging was my biggest concern since I didn’t want a chipped or scratched crock. I had two crocks in same package, both were well protected, one nested inside the other (1qt inside 2qt.). Ohio Stoneware makes great stuff.

    Nice heavy weight and thick durable glaze finish. Very attractive on our countertop. Perfect size for holding and displaying kitchen utensils or using as food storage container. Has charm and looks rustic. Much nicer than department store offerings. Will last us a very long time. A+

    Great for kitchen counters

    We have 5 different sizes that we got to organize our supply of kitchen implements, such as wooden, plastic, and metal spoons and spatula, measuring spoons, peelers, whisks, and all the other devices that a well-equipped kitchen has. The stoneware crocks are functional, sturdy, and quite attractive. Highly recommended.
