    This is a beautiful dish! I only ordered one to see if I liked it before buying a set. The edge is chocolate brown. I couldn't tell if it was black or gray in the picture. I love the unexpected brown! The dessert plate is smaller than my salad plates from previous Hartstone sets. I can't wait to buy the dinner plates and bowls next. They are great quality and beautifully painted. This is a very classy looking pattern that I plan to use year-round.
