Description

These beautiful Ohio Stoneware crocks are very useful, and make a nice addition to any stoneware collection. They are great for traditional canning and pickling uses, and this 4 Gallon Crock is a nice size for pickles and kraut. They can be used decoratively, as well... and as kitchen storage and pantry containers. 

When purchasing our crocks, covers, and weights, please keep in mind that we carry six sizes of Ohio Stoneware preserving crocks, weights, and covers. Lid size and weight size should match the crock size, (I.e., 1 gallon lid pairs with the 1 gallon crock, and the 1 gallon weight set pairs with the 1 gallon crock). Our preserving crocks are available in 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, and 10 gallon sizes. 

This product is the 4 Gallon Crock. The 4 Gallon Crock Cover and 4 Gallon Weight Set are sold separately. 

Each crock is fired at a high temperature for durability! Finished with Lead-Free, Food-Safe Glaze. Ready to use. Easy to clean. Will not retain the food’s flavors. Microwave safe. Oven safe. Dishwasher safe. High Quality! 

Do not expose your Ohio Stoneware piece to direct flame (stovetop, grill, etc). Direct heat may cause your piece to crack and you will be sad. This is considered misuse and will not be covered under our warranty.

Warranty Information

Ohio Stoneware guarantees this product five years from the date of purchase against all defects in materials and workmanship, provided the product has been used as instructed. It does not cover normal wear and tear, commercial use, or misuse of the product. To claim under the guarantee please email pictures of the product to info@ohiostoneware.com with proof of purchase or date of purchase and retailer purchased from. After review, Ohio Stoneware may request to have the item sent in for a physical review and at its discretion will determine if the product is eligible for replacement. Replacement products will be sent free of charge with prepaid postage. Ohio Stoneware, in its discretion, shall either repair or replace the product free of charge and return the product prepaid. This warranty gives you specific legal rights, and you may also have other rights, which vary state to state.

    A heavy crock, and very well crafted. Even glazing all around, and this will do very nicely for water glassing my chicken eggs. I also bought the lid and weights (the latter which I'm not sure I'll need or use), and the lid fits flat on the rim, indicating the crock and the lid are well made. Not air tight, but not meant to be, so if you're looking for a sealed lid this ain't it.
