Who We Are & What We're Doing
Ohio Stoneware first opened in 2005 in Zanesville, Ohio. It is one of America's last remaining commercial pottery manufacturers, operating in what used to be the Pottery Capital of the World.
Ohio Stoneware's humble beginnings included a product line that contained only ten items. Our current product line carries well over two hundred items.
We are a family owned business and pride ourselves on manufacturing quality, American made stoneware. Our pieces are fired at approximately 2,200 degrees, and are processed through a kiln cycle (which, heats and cools) for roughly 18 hours. Our glazes are second to none, and will withstand the rigors of daily used for many, many years.
OUR PROMISE
Ohio Stoneware offers a limited warranty for products purchased directly from Ohio Stoneware or its authorized retailers. Our products are warranted to be free from manufacturing defects. Unfortunately, we cannot guarantee the quality of products handled by distributors outside of our carefully selected network of partners, so our warranty only applies to purchases made directly through Ohio Stoneware or an authorized retailer. We guarantee our product five years from the date of purchase against all defects in materials and workmanship, provided the product has been used as instructed. It does not cover normal wear and tear, commercial use, or misuse of the product. To claim under the guarantee please email pictures of the product to info@ohiostoneware.com with proof of purchase or date of purchase and retailer purchased from. After review, Ohio Stoneware may request to have the item sent in for a physical review and at its discretion will determine if the product is eligible for replacement. Replacement products will be sent free of charge with prepaid postage. Ohio Stoneware, in its discretion, shall either repair or replace the product free of charge and return the product prepaid. This warranty gives you specific legal rights, and you may also have other rights, which vary state to state.
