Bakeware ~ Care and Use

24th Jun 2019

  • Oil your pan with neutral-flavored vegetable oil or cooking spray before each use. A nice patina will develop over time. For additional prevention of sticking, sprinkle a thin layer of semolina into the bottom of the oiled pan.

  • Suitable for oven temperatures up to 450°F. Putting your room temperature pan into a pre-heated oven is fine. The pan is also microwave safe.

  • Protect your pan from extreme temperatures. Never put it in the freezer. Do not transfer it from refrigerator to hot oven; rather allow a refrigerated pan to come to room temperature before placing in the oven. Do not transfer your hot oven to a refrigerator; allow your pan to cool before refrigerating.
  • Allow your pan to cool before washing. Hand wash with warm water only.

  • No need to soak in water before use. It is neither necessary, nor recommended.
  • Do not use a broiler or on the stove top.

  • Protect your kitchen table and counter top from scratches by setting your pan on a trivet when it is not in the oven.
