Ohio Stoneware stands behind the quality and craftsmanship of its products. Products purchased directly from Ohio Stoneware or through an authorized retailer are covered by a five-year limited warranty against defects in materials and workmanship, provided the product has been used as instructed. 

The warranty applies to qualifying manufacturing defects discovered within five years of the original purchase date.

Coverage is limited to products purchased:

• Directly from Ohio Stoneware
• Through an authorized Ohio Stoneware retailer

Ohio Stoneware may choose to repair or replace an eligible product after reviewing the claim.

The warranty does not cover:

• Normal wear and tear
• Commercial use
• Misuse or improper care
• Damage caused by use outside the product’s care instructions
• Damage from direct flame or other improper heat exposure
• Products purchased from unauthorized sellers or distributors

Do not use a stomper, tamper or similar device to force contents into a preserving or fermentation crock. Ohio Stoneware specifically warns that excessive pressure can cause cracking, and damage resulting from the use of these tools is not covered under the warranty.
