I was so pleased to find this fermentation Crock. It is beautiful and I’m happy that it’s made in the United States. I look forward to lots of years of sauerkraut!

Shipped fast well packed nice and well made

This product exceeded my expectations. Crock was finished beautifully and the lid and weights were perfect. We are making pickles now. Some reviews reported crocks broken in transit. My shipment was packed so securely with expandable foam that It would be very unlikely any damage could occur. Overall most impressed and pleased.

I ordered this starter kit because I have never had a crock that had weights specifically made for the size crock. The care and workmanship which goes into these crocks is very apparent. The weights are easy to use and it is nice to have a lid instead of using a towel and rubber band. The packaging was exceptional and I would not hesitate to order from this company again.

I saw the Ohio Stoneware crocks first on Amazon a while ago. I've always kept my eye on these. It was between the German crocks or these from Ohio Stoneware. After reading the reviews on Amazon for these, I discovered that there were a lot of complaints for crocks arriving broken. Not what I wanted, so I went in search of the actual site for Ohio Stoneware. Here I am writing a review. The crock arrived in perfect shape. Packing was very well thought out. Delivery was also QUICK!!! The crock is larger than I imagined--BUT boy does it look good on my countertop in my farmhouse kitchen. I LOVE IT! Awesome piece. Will be back for another.

The crock, weights, and lid arrived in a timely fashion. I was sort of surprised by this as my order was supposedly a "pre-order" , of which I was expecting to wait for a few months to receive. But I got it in about two weeks, so thank you Ohio Stoneware. Not only was the crock and all accessories delivered quickly, they came in perfect order. No chips, cracks, or other issues. At the moment the crock has approximately twelve pounds of shredded cabbage that is slowly fermenting into sauerkraut, and could probably safely handle another three pounds worth. Thank you, Ohio Stoneware, for a great product.

The crock has some serious vibes! Sturdy, simple, elegant, with homey evidence of its handmade quality. I found it very easy to work with for pounding out my sauerkraut and look forward to seeing how this first batch turns out.
